The Hungry Golfer Teams Up with Gearnada
THG becomes Ontario’s first merchant on Gearnada, a growing online marketplace for Canadian sporting goods retailers
Since launching The Hungry Golfer merchandise, I’ve been searching for the right partner to help share THG golf gear and lifestyle products with sports enthusiasts across Canada. I wasn’t looking for just another online marketplace. I wanted a Canadian company that understood independent businesses, valued community, and genuinely supported entrepreneurs trying to grow their brands.
That search led me to Gearnada — Canada’s Gear Exchange.
I’m excited to announce a new partnership between The Hungry Golfer and Gearnada, a growing Canadian online marketplace dedicated to sporting goods, apparel, accessories, and equipment. Based in Golden, British Columbia, the platform connects sports enthusiasts with independent Canadian retailers from coast to coast to coast.
The Hungry Golfer is proud to become Ontario’s first merchant on the platform.
Founded by longtime PGA of Canada professional Graeme Kreiner, Gearnada was created to help independent sporting goods businesses compete in an online world increasingly dominated by massive international marketplaces. Rather than building another generic e-commerce site, Graeme developed a marketplace focused specifically on sports, recreation, and community.
The platform welcomes merchants from a wide variety of sports categories, including golf, hockey, cycling, skiing, fitness, summer and winter sports, and more. Sellers can list products free of charge, while buyers connect directly with merchants regarding pricing, shipping, and availability.
That direct connection is part of what makes the concept appealing. Unlike large online marketplaces that often feel impersonal, Gearnada encourages real interaction between buyers and sellers — much like the communities built around sports themselves.
For Canadian consumers, the platform offers an opportunity to discover unique products and independent businesses they may never have otherwise encountered. For merchants, it provides something many smaller companies struggle to achieve today: visibility.
The sporting goods industry is filled with passionate entrepreneurs who genuinely love their sport. Gearnada gives those businesses a place to be seen without requiring massive advertising budgets or corporate scale.
The Hungry Golfer plans to feature a variety of branded golf apparel and accessories on the platform, including hats, towels, golf gloves, lifestyle apparel, and gift items. I also believe the partnership will help introduce The Hungry Golfer brand to sports enthusiasts beyond Ontario.
As more Canadians support homegrown businesses and Canadian-made products whenever possible, platforms like Gearnada have the potential to strengthen the national sporting goods community in a meaningful way.
Fellow sporting goods merchants interested in joining Team Gearnada free of charge are encouraged to contact Graeme Kreiner directly for additional details.
For now, The Hungry Golfer is proud to help introduce Gearnada to golfers and sports enthusiasts throughout Ontario. If you enjoy discovering Canadian businesses, unique sporting goods, and fellow entrepreneurs who care deeply about their craft, Gearnada is worth a look.
