Behind the Scenes at THG: What’s Coming Next
The 2026 Golf Season Is Taking Shape at THG, Even Though Winter Is Still Here
The Hungry Golfer’s Move is Complete
The transition to Substack is now complete, and I’m genuinely loving it here. This space feels closer to what The Hungry Golfer has become: more stories, more connection, and a cleaner way to celebrate the crazy game of golf with you.
New Partner Announcement Coming Soon
Over the winter, I established a partnership with a full‑service Canadian promotional manufacturing company. This new partner will handle all sales and distribution of all Hungry Golfer gear moving forward, including the popular 100% cabretta leather gloves. The 2026 glove design now includes a small Canadian flag on the tab. Wait until you see it—it’s very cool.
I will be announcing my new partner soon.
A First Look at THG’s Inaugural Limited‑Edition Performance Polo
In addition to teaming up with a Canadian promotional manufacturer, I’ve been working on what I hope will be the first of many limited‑edition performance polos. The debut run features a word cloud of twenty‑five classic golf excuses; light, clean, and quietly funny in the way golfers appreciate. My personal favourite in the mix: “That club’s older than my knees.”
Stay tuned for details on how to get your hands on one of these beauties.
A Bonus of Being Here
As a Substacker, I get to read all sorts of stories about golf and a plethora of other subjects. One guy who puts out a great story is Ryan Caven. I loved his story about golfing in Scotland, Lose the Numbers. Find the Golf. It really makes me want to golf in Scotland someday. I hope you check it out.
Happy Golfing, Everyone
Stay safe. Stay well. Have fun.
